My first day at SxSW was fantastic. Registration went smooth. Hooked up with <a href=\"http:\/\/straightnochaser.org\/\">Tom <\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/treehugger.com\/\">Graham, and Nick<\/a>. Went to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.porternovelli.com\/\">Porter Novelli<\/a> party and got initimate with the local brew <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shiner.com\/\">Shiner Bock<\/a>. We ended up at the very chill Side Bar and had the chance to hang out with some great locals. Most of the night was a blur, but one thing stands clear and was by far the coolest thing I saw all night; <a href=\"http:\/\/meyerweb.com\/eric\/thoughts\/2006\/03\/11\/no-kidding\/\">Eric Meyer<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zeldman.com\/2006\/03\/11\/sxsw-i\/\">Zeldman pushing dueling baby carriages<\/a> downtown. <\/p>\n<p>Now it&#8217;s really time to get the party started. Looks like it&#8217;s time to make a game time decision. Is it <a href=\"http:\/\/2006.sxsw.com\/interactive\/programming\/panels\/?action=show&amp;id=IAP060081\">XML<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/2006.sxsw.com\/interactive\/conference\/panels\/?action=show&amp;id=IAP060026\">Design <\/a>or <a href=\"http:\/\/2006.sxsw.com\/interactive\/programming\/panels\/?action=show&amp;id=IAP060074\">Folksonomy<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>Decisions, decisions.
